February is one of my favorite months of the year. Blue sunny skies return, Valentine’s Day adds a heartwarming feel, and my husband and I both celebrate our birthdays. What normally feels like endless winter get broken up by fun activities and early signs that spring is on its way. (Cheers to the groundhog who didn’t see his shadow this year!)
To add to the fun, I’d like to share some of the things I’ve been loving lately. Enjoy and Happy February! xo

I might be late to the game but I just discovered Necessaire body lotion and it is luxurious. And totally necessary!
Currently listening to One in a Millenial by Kate Kennedy and it is so hilariously relatable. If you’re a millenial girl, it’s a must read/listen.
Drinking Blue Bottle Coffee like it’s going out of style. My favorite blend is the Bella Donovan.
I’ve had a slight obsession with Bobby Parrish’s FlavCity videos and recipes. I feel validated in my need to read and understand food ingredients. He also has a couple of cookbooks.
I have a very minimal makeup routine, but Chantecaille’s tinted moisturizer is a staple. Also Anastasia’s brow definer.
Listening to this Chill Morning Mix on Spotify:
I definitely ate my fair share of paczki on Fat Tuesday. For those who don’t know, they are Polish donuts. YUM.
Currently reading Come & Get It by Kiley Reid.
I’m sampling this eye cream and I think I *might* splurge. It’s pricey, but when I do the math on daily use it feels worth it given the results. Each use is only a rice grain amount, so it will last months. (I’m told you only need the eco refill, not the holder.) → Friends: talk me off the ledge if this sounds crazy :)
There’s nothing like a good journal and a favorite pen.
I love a good list! Enjoying these February bucket list ideas.
Wearing Doc Martens and feeling 90s cool again.
Watching this beautiful series called The Chosen. At times I’m brought to tears, other times I’m laughing out loud.
Enjoyed reading Brooke’s take on Joy vs. Happiness.
I just devoured Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver. I literally couldn’t put it down and brought it with me everywhere I went. Several people stopped me to say that the book was phenomenal, and I agree! Highly recommend.
These dried eucalyptus stems add a nice touch to our entryway. It’s nice to see some green in the middle of winter.
I love animals so much.
This oversized Alo hoodie is keeping me warm. It might be sunny, but it’s still cold outside!
Eating chocolate covered walnuts on repeat. I’m addicted. Slowly melt milk chocolate chips on the stove and stir in walnuts. Spon clusters onto a parchment lined pan and refridgerate until solid. Enjoy on a fancy plate to make it feel extra special.
Thank you for reading this edition of My Favorites. Wishing you all a joyful month.
Cheers!
